Another favorite taco place of mine in the city is Gomez Salsa. However, I almost never order tacos. They have one of the most unique items on their menu- a turtle! It's a burrito... or a taco... or a tostada... or a quesadilla... or all of those mixed together. But whatever it is, it's delicious!
This one came from the Over the Rhine location. If you've never been to Gomez, I would recommend going to this location first. It's a lot more customizable because instead of ordering at a register or with a server, you fill out a card, walk up to the window, hand it to the cashier, and pay. There's no indoor seating (or outdoor for that matter). It's purely a walk-up window! Which makes it fun on a beautiful day to make the short walk to Washington Park and sit on a bench and enjoy the vibrancy of Over the Rhine.

I finally had the chance to the try the Walnut Hills location, and I was not disappointed! Here, ordering is a little bit different. This location is an actual restaurant with seating inside. You can choose between tacos, a turtle, or a bowl, and can choose between different styles such as Gomez, Southwestern, Baja, and others. It's not as customizable as the Over the Rhine location, but the flavor is still there! It's a really fun atmosphere with a full bar.
