Restaurant: Jefferson Social

Happy Fourth of July! I hope you had a great day filled with friends and family and lots of good food! Today was more of a relaxing day for my family- we have a huge family reunion every Fourth of July but this year we did it on Sunday. That way we could have a nice, relaxing day off of work.

My dad and I decided we'd spend our morning downtown. We love to run along the banks of the Ohio river- it has beautiful views and it's a pretty long route. We always start at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse.

I love to watch the boats and barges float by, there's so much to see along this route!

We always end up at the Banks for a great lunch! Today we decided on Jefferson Social, it has such great food and a fun atmosphere.

Their menu has some pretty cool selections on it- they offer tacos, salads, sandwiches, and other Mexican bites. They even offer a "taconey"- a taco with Cincinnati chili on it! While their tacos are amazing, we decided to split some nachos today.
Nachos and Mexican Rice

Jefferson Social never disappoints. Their rice is extremely flavorful and their nachos are filled with toppings. The worst tragedy is when nachos have uneven topping distribution, right? But these nachos were layered to perfection. They didn't last long between the two of us!

We made the walk back to our car and finished the morning with this beautiful view.

We spent the rest of the day working around the house and relaxing a bit. Then we had a nice American dinner of burgers and homemade potato wedges!

Finally, we ended the day with the Loveland fireworks. Happy Fourth of July!
